Si chiama "Hard Candy" il nuovo album di Madonna. Uscita prevista il 28 Aprile. Le 12 tracce si mostrano in tutta la loro bizzarria e varietà. Un album difficilmente classificabile, ogni brano ha una sua identità, ma questa per Madonna potrebbe essere l’arma vincente. Il disco sembra essere un po il figlio illegittimo di ”Ray of Light, Music e Confessions on a Dance Floor”, con un largo impiego dell’elettronica e una direzione musicale senza confini. Le canzoni risultano essere poco cantate e gli spazi riempiti da suoni dilatati, beat, voci, groove, a volte molto ritmici, a volte rallentati, che danno al lavoro le sembianze di un disco fuori da ogni schema, dove Madonna continua la sua incursione nella musica pop-dance, aggiungendo ritmi "urban hip-hop". Importanti inoltre le collaborazioni alla produzione con partner quali: Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams dei Neptunes e Nate "Danja" Hills. Il primo singolo, "4 Minutes", uscirà alla fine di Marzo.

Madonna is arguably the biggest name in all of music. For 25 years, Madonna has been releasing classic material to the masses. Her last album Confessions On A Dance Floor set Madonna up as the reigning queen of the dance floors. Now on her latest album Hard Candy, Madonna is poised to take over the realm of urban music. Will Madonna be successful with proven hit makers Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Danja and Pharrell Williams by her side?

The first single off of Hard Candy is 4 Minutes. The track is a collaboration between Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Timbaland and Danja. All of these proven hit makers definitely make the track a hit. The song features a catchy beat and solid lyrics. The biggest positive of the song however, is that it keeps Madonna fresh and youthful.
On Beat Goes On, Madonna teams up with producer Pharrell Williams. The track features a verse from rap superstar Kanye West. The song is very solid and catchy. Kanye delivers a very solid verse as well.
Miles Away, once again is a collaboration between Justin Timberlake, Timbaland and Danja. The song is interesting sound wise and is unlike most of the other tracks on the album.
Candy Shop is more classic Pharrell Williams. The song is similar to his previous hits as a producer. The song is fairly solid and catchy.
Heartbeat is another collaboration between Pharrell and Madonna. The song is vintage Pharrell featuring a pulsating beat and solid lyrics. The song is very catchy and well put together.
Dance 2Night is a collaboration with Timbaland and Justin Timberlake. The song is very catchy and features a unique beat which will appeal to a vast audience.

Give It 2 Me is yet another Pharrell produced track. The song features a very distinctive beat and interesting vocal patterns. The song is not the strongest on the album but it is fairly solid. Devil Wouldn't Recognize You teams Madonna once again with Timbaland, Justin Timberlake and Danja. The song is in the same style as Justin's Cry Me A River.

Pharrell and Madonna pair up again on She's Not Me. The song is different than what you would expect from this pairing. The song is interesting and once again well executed.
